Perforated metal sheets according to DIN 24041

Perforated metal sheets according to DIN 24041

A product and a DIN standard - but what exactly does that mean for you? Perforated plates, the name for perforated plates according to DIN 24041 and DIN 4185 section 2, refer to the standards mentioned a plate (sheet, plate and the like) with similar openings (holes) at regular intervals. The perforation is done for example by punching, drilling or milling.

STANDARDS AND quality marks GUARANTEE the HIGHEST QUALITY

The comprehensive perforated plate standard DIN 24041 replaced the previous standards DIN 24041 (round holes), DIN 24042 (square holes) and DIN 24043 (oblong holes) in December 2002. However, the term perforated plate has not yet prevailed with manufacturers or customers. That is why you will continue to receive perforated plates, coils and blanks from a wide variety of puncturable materials at the Franz Fahl GmbH metal punching machine in Ennepetal, Westphalia. But perforated plates are not only regulated according to DIN 24041. The RAL quality mark RAL-GZ 615 guarantees the highest quality by defining the requirements for perforated sheets and coils made of hot-rolled steel with a tensile strength of up to 500 N / mm².
